PAL (Personal Assistant for Learning) is an AI-powered adaptive “smart” learning system that builds strong early math foundations by working through the child’s entire learning ecosystem, including families, caregivers, and teachers. Grounded in learning science, PAL uses smart nudges and text-based activities to guide adults toward meaningful math interactions during everyday moments. The platform dynamically adjusts its recommendations based on caregiver and teacher observations, creating a personalized learning path for each child.

Co-Founder & Chief Learning Scientist
Dr. Anastasia Betts is Co-Founder and Chief Learning Scientist of Learnology.ai, where she leads the development of PAL (Personal Assistant for Learning), an AI-powered early math platform built on the premise that young children learn best together with the adults who love them, not through a screen. With over 25 years spanning classroom teaching, curriculum design, EdTech product development, and policy work, she is named on three U.S. patents for AI-embedded personalized learning systems and has shaped how millions of children engage with early math. Her doctoral research on family engagement and early math equity produced the RESET Framework, which anchors PAL’s design. A former Federation of American Scientists Policy Sprint Entrepreneur, Dr. Betts is driven by the conviction that the achievement gap is preventable, and that the window to close it opens early, in homes and classrooms, long before remediation becomes necessary.
