Siyavula is upgrading its existing platform with knowledge component (concept) awareness. Moving beyond simple difficulty adjustments, the tool will identify the conceptual gaps that hold learners back. The team will build and test concept diagnostic reports for teachers and two recommendation engines for learners, leveraging both human expertise and generative AI. The tool will be validated through expert review and a large-scale randomized controlled trial, with strict bias checks to help ensure it serves the learners who need it most.
