Jean Rhodes

Co-Founder

Jean is the Frank L. Boyden Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring at UMass Boston. She has devoted her career to understanding and improving Mentoring relationships, publishing over 250 peer-reviewed articles on the topic over the past three decades and has worked tirelessly to disseminate this work. This includes co-authoring the National Mentoring Partnership’s Elements of Effective Practice, which has been downloaded by more than 10 million practitioners worldwide, helping to establish Centers for Evidence-Based Mentoring in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and creating the popular Chronicle of Evidence-Based Mentoring.

Nancy McNamara

Co-Founder

Nancy founded Academic Web Pages in 2002. Previously, she worked for The Worx Group as a Senior Application Developer, where she engineered internet solutions, and at OffRoad Capital as a Senior Programmer. For more than a decade, she worked at Interleaf, Inc. in Cambridge, MA, as a software developer, and before that at Xerox PARC in Palo Alto, CA. She has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Nancy now also serves as the Director of the MentorPRO Academy, where she leads the design and delivery of training and learning experiences for mentees, mentors and program managers. She plays a central role in product development and is deeply involved in the technical evolution of the MentorPRO platform, contributing her expertise to everything from architecture to implementation.

Ani Sanchez

Director of Product

Ania is passionate about marketing, product development, and driving consumer attraction and retention. She currently serves as Director of Product Success at MentorPRO, where she leads go-to-market strategies and creates compelling messaging that reflects the company’s unique value. Ania champions the voice of the customer, ensuring internal teams are aligned with user needs and pain points. She has developed a wide range of content—including demo tours, workshops, newsletters, and case studies—to drive product awareness and adoption. Her career spans international companies in the retail, cosmetics, tech, and toy industries. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Ania holds a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Gigi Kranjc

Associate Product Engineer

Gigi brings deep expertise in data management, software integration, and project management to her role. A 2023 Boston College graduate with a B.S. in Management, she focuses on translating data insights into actionable strategies. Her background in finance and tech and her forward-thinking mindset allow her to approach challenges with creativity and clarity.
