Ansaf Salleb-Aouissi

Ansaf is a Senior Lecturer with the computer science department at Columbia University. She passionately teaches AI and discrete mathematics and conducts exciting research in her PRAISE Lab (Practice and Research in AI for Science and Education). Her research interests focus on AI for medicine, science, and education. She is the president and co-founder of Aiphabet, Inc., a non-profit organization to disseminate free and quality AI education among teens and pre-college students. Uzay is the vice-president and co-founder of Aiphabet, Inc. He is an entrepreneur and engineer working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and education. Uzay graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science and applied mathematics. Nathan Holbert

Associate Professor, Teachers College, Columbia University

Nathan Holbert is an Associate Professor of Communication, Media, and Learning Technologies Design at Teachers College, Columbia University. His work involves the development and study of playful tools, environments, and activities that allow all children to leverage computational power as they build, test, tinker, and make sense of personally meaningful topics, phenomena, or questions. Nathan received his Ph.D. in the Learning Sciences from Northwestern University and is the founder and director of the Snow Day Learning Lab.

Blake Castleman

Blake Castleman is a recent Masters in Computer Science graduate from Columbia University and is pursuing a PhD at Stanford University in Learning Sciences and Technology Design. He is a research assistant at Aiphabet studying how to enhance pedagogy using AI tools. Blake offers expertise at the cornerstone of education and AI in designing next generation computer science learning environments.
