Actionable Assessment is a digital reporting tool that engages students in interpreting and using assessment results to drive learning, improving the quality of the student assessment experience. The tool will help make students’ assessment results interpretable and actionable, fostering positive assessment use and learning habits. It will also report information to teachers, enabling them to better meet learning needs.

Dr. Laura Wright has more than 20 years of experience in education and education research. She began her career as an ESOL teacher and holds a PhD in sociolinguistics from Georgetown University. Her research focuses on how students express understanding through discourse in complex learning environments. She has investigated how students demonstrate evidence of knowledge, skills, and abilities through multiple modalities such as action, speaking and writing. She has worked in assessment for 15 years and specializes in technology-based assessments.
