Kristen Silvas is an experienced secondary English teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Master of Science in Instructional Design, International Baccalaureate Certificate in Teaching and Learning as well as AP College Board Certification in Literature, Language, and Capstone. With over 14 years of teaching experience, Kristen has taught in various educational institutions around the world such as QSI Astana in Kazakhstan and ICS in Hong Kong. Recently, Kristen has embarked on a new professional pursuit in the realm of instructional design, which has afforded her the privilege of undertaking several freelancing engagements for an esteemed international school. In addition to her professional undertakings, she has also had the privilege of volunteering for two years at a non-profit organization that rescues children from human trafficking on the Thailand/Myanmar border.
